Ponderosa Pines On Rainier
Cascade Single Hop IPA
Crop Year 2019 Series - 11

£5.00

Released in the early 70s, Cascade hops, named after the California to British Columbia mountain range, became a staple in new US beer styles, such as the American Pale Ale. Often overlooked by modern breweries, it’s a hop that once was, and still is, revered for its grapefruit and pine aromas. Take it on as you would a short history lesson, and though its modern setting in this beer is far removed from the original beers it took centre stage in, enjoy it as a looking-glass back into the pioneering trailblazers that came before us.

6.0% ABV 440ml

Aroma & Flavour: Gently swirl the glass and inhale both quickly and deeply through your nose. Take several mouthfuls, swirl in your mouth, taste and experience the smell upon exhalation

Body: Evaluate the texture of the beer in the mouth, the thickness, carbonation, and smoothness as you swallow

Aftertaste: Note lingering flavours and sensations in the mouth after drinking

ALLERGENS: GLUTEN WHEAT BARLEY OATS
