Jammy and full-flavoured, yet still relatively light and refreshing, this red wine barrel-aged sour is impactful and fruit-forward rather than funky and complex. We racked a simple Pale Ale into French natural red wine barrels on top of the remaining lees and aged it for 12 months, during which time it was refermented on raspberries.

Aroma & Flavour: Jammy redcurrant and fresh raspberries, leading to notes of cranberry juice and acetic sourness
Body: Light-medium with a firm sourness and dry, relatively clean finish
Aftertaste: Subtle red wine character and lingering notes of blackcurrant skins
